My name's Tony, and it was my birthday last week on Sunday. I had the best party ever. It started at one o'clock in the afternoon and finished at six o'clock. Twenty of my friends came and so did all of my family. We had a great lunch. My mother made chocolate cake and my grandma brought some sandwiches. My dad went to the shops in the morning and bought lots of lemonade and some hamburgers. We didn't have any salad or soup.

After lunch we played party games. I love games. We had a race, but I didn't win. I didn't come last. My sister did. My friend John ran most quickly and he won the prize. The prize was a book about the Star family.

Before the party finished a clown came and made us all laugh. He had a big red nose and he wore a funny green hat. He jumped and smiled and skipped and said lots of funny things.
