Read the text and do the tasks below.
Last Sunday I visited my friend in Kyiv. We went shopping. Firstly, we visited a big supermarket. It is bigger than supermarkets in my town. But it is not the biggest supermarket in Kyiv. We bought some cakes and candies there. The cakes were tasty. But the cakes in the shop near my house are tastier. When we were choosing candies my friend saw her relatives. While they were speaking, I went to the cash desk and paid for everything by credit card.
Then we went to the department store. We were walking in the department store all day long. We visited the clothes department. There were many fashionable clothes. I chose the most fashionable shirts and skirts and tried them on. The choice of shirts was the widest in that department store. Some of them were on sale. I bought three nice shirts. They were green, blue and red. In my opinion, they were the nicest shirts in the shop. The green shirt was more expensive than the red shirt. The blue shirt was the most expensive of them. All the shirts fit me perfectly and were stylish and beautiful. They were more stylish than the clothes in my wardrobe.
Then we went to the department with jeans. My friend had a discount in that department. I chose wonderful jeans, but there wasn’t any fitting room in that department that’s why I changed my mind and didn’t buy them.
I liked my day in Kyiv. I was merry and happy. It was one of the happiest days in my life. It is more interesting to do shopping in Kyiv than in my small town, because we have small markets.
