Steven Spielberg: The Amazing Creator of Success
Steven Allan Spielberg, the famous director of Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and many other brilliant films, was bom in the USA in 1946.
His love of films began when he was still at school. He made his first films using a simple camera and his toy train set. When his friends came to his house to see these home movies, young Steven used to ask them to pay, just like at a real cinema! At twelve, he made his first real film, its name was The Last Gun and it was 8 minutes long. He made another film two years later, and never stopped making films after that!
In 1975 he directed Jaws, a very popular film about a great white shark that attacks swimmers in a small American town. After that, one successful film followed another: The Color Purpie, Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan are only a few of the dozens of amazing films that have Steven Spielberg's signature.
