The Towns of Northern Ireland
The area of Northern Ireland is small, you can get anywhere in less than 2,5 hours. The two main cities are Belfast, the , and Londonderry. Belfast has many fine buildings and all the advantages of a big city. Londonderry, or Derry as it’s also called, is a fine, old city, full of . Ballycastle is a typical of the lovely busy towns.
But perhaps the greatest pleasure of Northern Ireland is its . Its lakes, hills and rural landscapes offer peace and quiet.
The coastline is magnificent. Just along the coast is Dunluce , a romantic ruin that merges with the cliffs.
On the north-east is the Giant’s Causeway. Legend says that it’s the remains of a road built by a giant to cross the sea to Scotland, and nearby is the organ that he played.
