Emma woke up early on Valentine’s Day. She felt excited because she loved this special day. She had a secret admirer, but she didn’t know who it was. Every year, she received a beautiful card with kind words. This year, she hoped to find out who sent it.

At school, she saw red hearts and balloons everywhere. Her best friend Lily gave her a small chocolate heart. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Emma!” Lily said. Emma smiled and thanked her. Then, she opened her locker and saw a red envelope inside. Her heart beat fast.

She opened the card and read the sweet message. It said, “You are kind, smart, and special. Never stop smiling!” There was no name on the card. Emma looked around but saw no one. She was curious but also happy.

After school, Emma walked home. On her doorstep, she found another small gift. It was a white rose with a note. “I will always be your friend,” it said. Emma smiled. She realized that love is not only about romance. It is also about friendship and kindness.
