My first lesson as a teacher was a bit chaotic.
The negative aspects were:
1) I forgot to introduce myself to the students;
2) I was still poorly oriented in the group and did not remember the names of the students;
3) I didnt know the level of their knowledge and the level of interest in my subject;
4) I felt a little insecure;
The positive aspects of my lesson were:
1) I have well prepared theoretical base;
2) I felt passionate about my subject, the topic of the lesson and the group;
3) I was positive;
4) I listened to the students and encouraged them to debate;
5) I didnt set myself higher than the students, which caused them confidence and respect for me.
I think I'm a very happy teacher. I like my subject very much and I always believed that my students are the best and the smartest.
They motivate me to develop, to read and watch feature films, to visit theater, museums or opera, to travel and to work on scientific articles. My students teach me to be more attentive, calm, and confident.
During a bad period of my life, being able to work with students was the meaning of my life and saved me from depression.
Now I miss my students very much, but we continue to communicate and I enjoy their success.
