Урок 2. Brands (бренди)

Watch the videos on the following slides.

Try to understand what they are talking about (if it is difficult to perceive by ear, slow down the video in the settings and turn on subtitles).

Can you answer the following questions (verbally):

• Where did these brands appear?

• Who started them?

• What is their "highlight"?

• What is the menu of these establishments?

• Why are McDonald's constantly sued by their regular customers?

• What changes is the company making to its menu in connection with this?

1. Task1 (4 points). Think of other global brands (10 brands) and Ukrainian brands (10 brands) that are involved in the food industry (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, confectionery, chains of specialized stores, pizzerias, coffee shops, etc.), and write them down in English.

2. Task 2 (8 points). Present one global and one Ukrainian brand in English according to the following scheme:

Brand name - is one of the most famous (drinks, stores, etc.) in Ukraine. I really like its products (or services, quality, taste). I recommend this brand to everyone
