Firstly, we start with vocabulary revision.

Read the phrases and revise their meanings:

Read the text. Complete it with the necessary words. In some cases, the first letter is given:

Fashion is always changing, and it can be hard to know what's in (1) ... and what's out of fashion. But no matter the trends, being the centre of (2) ... is not just about what you wear – it's also about how you show yourself.

We use it to depict:

2. laws of nature

3. timetables and programmes

The Present Continuous Tense

We use it to depict:

1. some activity which is going on right now, at the moment of speaking

2. planned activity for the near future

3. some activity that lasts for some period of time

Look at the sentences from our text. Why are these verb tenses used here?
