British and Ukrainian holidays
New Year is the first holiday of the year; it is celebrated on the 1st of January. In February people have another holiday, St. Valentine’s Day. It is on the 14th day of the month. Women’s Day is a holiday on the 8th of March. In spring people also have one of the most important religious holidays – Easter. But this holiday doesn’t have a perfect date. One more spring holiday is May Day. It is celebrated on the 1st of May. On the 24th of August Ukrainian people have a national holiday – The Independence Day. In autumn English people have Halloween. They celebrate this holiday on the 31st of October. And the most favourite English holiday is Christmas. People celebrate it on the 25th of December
