The effect of Internet on our daily lives
The Internet has a great influence on the daily life of the individuals because indeed there is no aspect of life which is not affected by the Internet and its uses. Life has become drastically smooth and easy over the Internet. Even in the minor daily life activities like traveling and planning we are also related to the Internet in some way or the other.
The most interesting aspect of the internet influencing our daily lives is the factor of entertainment. Entertainment no longer demands your money or expense. Today you can just log on the Internet in your free time and get involved talking to people of similar interests, or watch movies or play games: it`s all there in the Internet.
As for me, using the Internet I can be updated about all the recent news or chat with my friends. I can discuss ideas and events they wish to plan. Also, I can can talk, hear and see the other person using Skype program and a web camera. Instead of sending letters to my relatives, I just send an email and in one minute it is received everywhere imaginable all over the globe.
Apart from communication, the Internet has also increased more commodities such as shopping. Some of my friends do shopping sitting at the computer. In some countries it is even possible to enter the website of a supermarket, send the shopping list and they will free deliver the items.
Besides, the Internet has also become a source of trouble-free job for some people because they can easily work from home and send their work via email.
On the other hand there is also the negative side of the Internet as every cloud has a silver lining. People who love gaming may spend hours playing with friends from different countries. That is not a problem but if one becomes an addict of online gaming a huge crisis might follow. One might become careless in the job, and problems with one's family might ensue. So, one must be disciplined.
Sometimes the Internet infiltrates our personal data because some hackers manage to fool people. This can have very grave consequences since hackers can have access to credit cards or one's personal information. Consequently our privacy can be in danger.
Finally it must be stated that the Internet has done wonders in our lives as information technology proliferated. The world has become smaller and we need to take advantage of this opportunity to make our lives more relaxing and enjoyable.
